Finn reveals his identity and loses his cool, cementing his place as mama’s boy and worst Mikaelson sibling. TO S2E2 - Alive and Kicking
With the introduction of Koleb, we take a trip down memory lane and learn more about Kol and his history with Klaus and Elijah. In flashbacks, we see Elijah oh so elegantly handle his relationship with a young and impressionable Marcel (I’m being facetious, of course he white fangs him). Meanwhile in the present, Marcel begins building his new vampire community, starting with turning Gia and recruiting Elijah. In their socialization, Elijah learns Davina has the stake, and comes face to face with Mikael. Elsewhere, Klaus brings Hayley to the bayou and performs some classic manipulation on the wolves there, then confronts Cassie and pretty quickly figures out her whole deal. It’s a new season baby! Hayley is a hybrid facing a new type of heightened emotion: post partum depression! Klaus and Elijah have been patiently biding their time since the season 1 finale as the Guerreras have taken over the city, but after months of recon, teaming up with Marcel, and quick trip to city hall, they are ready to attack. Francesca reads this silence as scheming, getting more scared by the moment. But despite her money and security she finds herself unprepared for these enemies. In a battle, we get an Elijah serve, a Francesca embarrassment, some Hayley revenge, and Klaus finally gets back to his painting. One the love side - Haylijah face yet another obstacle, making it seem increasingly unlikely we will se another kiss anytime soon. But at least Davina has met a handsome stranger named Kaleb, and Cami dumps Marcel to meet her new advisor. Marcel works on rebuilding his vampire army, while Josh struggles to understand what exactly the army is fighting for.
