It all began with episode one on August 9th 2016 when the show was rebranded from Rush Hour Radio to Pharmacy Radio after one hundred episodes of Rush Hour. I am grateful to have had your support and ears over the last one hundred episodes an look forward to another one hundred. I have a fantastic show for you this month featuring a brilliant producer's mix from Doppler in the second hour. Doppler has a brilliant sound especially his bouncy groovy baselines. I have a fantastic episode for you this month even though this month's guest disappeared the day the mix was due! Instead, I have something special to make up for it. In the second hour I went deep in the vault and I found my live set from May 15th of 1996 at Magic Wednesdays on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Magic Wednesdays was like a mid-week mini rave showcasing the best in local DJs and one of the first clubs to bring international talent. It was an industry hangout for DJs, labels and promoters and the launching point of many successful careers in the rave scene. The set is representative of the progressive trance sound I was known for back in the day with some techno thrown in for good measure. I am proud to have stayed true to my underground sound over all these years. In the first hour I have a banging mix that flows from progressive house to psy and everything in between! I have an amazing episode for you today featuring a guest mix in the second hour from Spektre who are one of the most exciting artists in techno and one of my absolute favorites. You’ve heard their tracks here on Pharmacy Radio and I have hammered their tracks in my live sets and now you get a full hour in their exclusive mix they have put together for us. In the first hour I have a surprise for you, my set from Dreamstate’s Into the Sequence event from last month. I have been holding onto this set and this month I did not have time to go through all my new music so luckily I had this up my sleeve. Into the Sequence was an incredible psychedelic trance event and Dreamstate did an incredible job creating a proper psy event. I had an amazing time and am excited to share the first hour of my set with you.
