ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ ഫറവോ വിട്ടയച്ചപ്പോൾ ചെങ്കടൽത്തീരത്തു ഫറവോയുടെ സൈന്യം ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ പിന്തുടർന്നെത്തുന്നു. കർത്താവിൻ്റെ കരബലത്താൽ ചെങ്കടൽ വിഭജിച്ചു ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ കടൽ കടത്തുന്നു; ഈജിപ്തു സൈന്യം മുഴുവനെയും കടൽ മൂടിക്കളയുന്നു. കർത്താവ് കല്പിച്ചതിനു വിരുദ്ധമായി ബലിപീഠത്തെ സമീപിച്ച അഹറോൻ്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ അഗ്നി വിഴുങ്ങുന്നു. ദൈവാരാധന നടത്തേണ്ടത് ദൈവം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന വിധത്തിലാകണം എന്ന തത്വം ഡാനിയേൽ അച്ചനിൽ നിന്നും നമുക്ക് ശ്രവിക്കാം.
